Despite the uncertain economy and lagging housing industry, brothers Kent and Gregg Munro push forward by opening their new furniture stores in Long Beach called House to Home Furniture.

July 7, 2011 Long Beach, CA – It's 10:00AM as Kent and Gregg Munro open the doors of their new furniture store in Long Beach, California and get ready for another prosperous day. The two brothers recently began a new chapter in their careers in the furniture industry by forming a new company called House to Home Furniture.

House to Home Furniture boasts over 40,000 square feet of showroom floor, making it the largest furniture retailer in Long Beach. Occupying both sides of Lakewood Blvd. at Stearns Street, the stores are specializing hand-made Amish Furniture, well known brand names as well as other value-priced lines. Additionally, House to Home Furniture is the authorized Stressless® dealer for the Long Beach area. Stressless® is know the world over as the “innovators of comfort”. They produce a high-quality line of reclining chairs, sofas, ottomans, tables and accessories in Norway under the Ekornes brand name. “Once people sit in one of these (Stressless®) recliners they quickly realize that this is superior quality furniture” says Kent Munro, 45 the eldest of the two brothers. “We're also implementing a 110% Low Price Guarantee on every item in our stores” continues Munro, “so that our customers can shop worry-free knowing that if they find a lower price on the same item we will match it plus pay them 10% of the difference.”

The stores are entering into the Grand Opening phase which will last through the summer and into Labor Day. During this time House to Home Furniture plans on having numerous specials for their customers to take advantage of. “We're really excited about the summer” explains Gregg Munro, 42. “One of the things we're doing for our customers involves a $45,000.00 furniture giveaway. Each week from now until September 5th, we will hold a drawing. The winner of each drawing will have their purchase paid for by House to Home Furniture, up to $5,000.00.”
