KSOU Offering New Light in the Path of Distance Education
KSOU the center of excellence in offering distance education has raised a step further in the field of education. In addition, to imparting knowledge to students through the mode of distance learning, the university has also become the face of distance education in the country. In recent news, Bangalore University commonly referred to as BU has followed the path of Karnataka State Open University (KSOU) in promoting technical education through distance learning. Similar to the technical courses offered by KSOU, BU has also opened its door to distance learning through its launch of B.Tech Programs.With Karnataka State Open University tapping in a large number of students and professionals through its BE/B Tech and M Tech courses, universities like BU could not resist opening up to the mode of imparting technical education through distance learning. Witnessing the rising trends of distance education offered by acclaimed universities all across India, it can be well said that KSOU has set a new example in imparting education to rural areas and the professionals. The Karnataka State Open University (KSOU) established on June 1, 1996 is considered an open university of high status and stature.
