movemanSKG’s Domuslift: A Platform Lift Chameleon

07-04-2011 11:49 AM CET | Business, Economy, Finances, Banking & Insurance

Press release from: movemanSKG

Specialist lift supplier movemanSKG prides itself in keeping up with the latest industry trends and technology. Its latest product offering is Domuslift, a platform lift unit for commercial or domestic applications that is ideal for providing independence and freedom from stairs for the elderly and less able.

Domuslift’s main selling point is its almost infinitely customisable appearance. It is available in 54 models and features a vast range of options and accessories.
Users can specify Domuslift in practically any colour or finishing material, such as ultra-contemporary aluminium or a classic wood effect to blend into period buildings without blemishing their style.

For those with high-end requirements, movemanSKG offers luxury decor to create aesthetically exclusive platform lifts. Customers can combine this with innovative design features, such as LED backlit walls and photovoltaic cells in safety-stratified glass, to make their platform lift stand out even more.
There is an extended range of doors to choose from, including those made completely of glass, and doors that open and close automatically. Other accessories include handrail integrated push-buttons and a lighting system that creates in-car environments and atmospheres using a touch screen control panel.

What this means is that users can customise Domuslifts to suit any requirements or environment.

Various models are available to suit particular site conditions and user requirements. The Domuslift XL model for instance is particularly suitable for wheelchair users in public environments as it has a larger platform as standard with a capacity of 400kg and can travel up to 15 metres high. It is quick to install and runs off a standard 240 volt electrical supply. Domuslift runs quietly and cleanly, having been awarded the prestigious international certification of Class A energy efficiency by the German certification body, Tϋd Sϋv.

Bill Blyghton, movemanSKG’s General Manager, is delighted: “Domuslift represents outstanding versatility, which makes it ideal for private or public applications. These range from service providers looking to meet the requirements of the Equality Act to end-users who need wheelchair access in their homes.

“Because Domuslift is infinitely customisable, we can tailor models to suit any aesthetic requirements or budget, which makes it excellent value for money. I foresee Domuslift bringing in some big business this year.”

As a further incentive to potential customers, movemanSKG is offering Domuslift with a guarantee and inclusive service visits in the first year of ownership.

movemanSKG is a supplier of specialist lifts. It offers platform lifts and service lifts for industrial and commercial applications. These include schools and colleges, hotels and restaurants, shops, leisure centres, churches and libraries. movemanSKG also tailor-builds lifts to suit specific customer requirements.
