The Infinity School Hosts TSKC 2019: A Skill-Based Learning Contest For Pre-schoolers!

The Infinity School, Noida extension, in association with White Canvas hosted the much-anticipated Grand Finale of The Superkids Inter-preschool Challenge (TSKC 2019) for toddlers and pre-schoolers in their campus. More than 800 children auditioned for the NCR's first skill-based challenge across pre-schools in Noida, Greater Noida, Noida Extension and Indirapuram, during the whole of July.
Children of today need to be equipped with a positive attitude, strong mind-set, and right set of skills apart from knowledge right from school days. It is imperative for facilitators to identify and develop this non-cognitive side of children and this challenge was an endeavour towards that. The Grand Finale of TSKC 2019 was held on 28th July 2019 for age groups 2-3 years and on 4th August 2019 for age groups 3-4 years.
The first TSKC 2019 Grand Finale on 28th July had children playing tower game and ball game and on 4th August, the children participated in adventure sports and treasure hunt. On both the days, children not only displayed their fine motor and gross motor skills but also exhibited perseverance and organisational skill. This consolidates the belief that skill development should also be a part of a well-rounded, comprehensive school curriculum. By doing so, the top 10 schools in Greater Noida West would facilitate a change in the way children learn.
The Infinity School had also created Experience Zones like Thinking Zone, Music & Movement, Creative Zone and Sports Zone for all parents & kids to explore the various facets of learning. Kids were excited to participate in clay modelling, drawing, colouring, and craft activities in the Creative Zone. Geoboards, tangrams & colourful beads attracted them. They grooved to peppy beats in the Music & Movement Zone and learned fine motor skills in the Sports Zone. Many enthusiastically programmed the robot to find its way through the maze, solved puzzles, and multiple challenges in the Thinking Zone. All the children were appreciated for their efforts and inspiring enthusiasm.
