CAT5e Riser Bare Copper UL:
CAT5e Riser Bare Copper UL is the fifth edition of the twisted pair networking that has not only become the current standard of today when it comes to networking but it is also the second officially recognized by the TIA/EIA.
When it comes to 1000ft cables, it provides a bandwidth of up to 250 MHz and a speed that can reach the mark of 100 meters where you’ll be able to utilize 1 Gbps. The AWG on this variant is 24 AWG, and like the successors this is Pure Copper with 100% copper content officially certified by Underwriters Laboratories.
CAT6 Riser Bare Copper UL:
The sixth in the line is also recognized by the TIA/EIA and provides a performance of up to 550 MHz and a speed of 10 Gbps which can reach the 100 meter radius. It is a little thicker with barely noticeable difference in width - the AWG on this variant is 23 AWG.
CAT6a Riser Bare Copper UL:
This is the ‘augmented’ type of the same Category 6 and it provides a frequency of up to 850 MHz and the same speed and distance like the CAT6 one. Also certified by UL for 100% copper just like the above ones and it is also recognized by the TIA/EIA. The width is the same as CAT6 one as well: 23 AWG.
