New PowerBeatsVR Update Lets Gamers Track and Improve Their

Five Mind Creations, an independent game studio from Germany, is delighted and proud to release their latest fitness update for PowerBeatsVR, a physically intense VR fitness experience which combines exciting VR gaming with a challenging workout and induces fitness movements with the entire body: https://store.steampowered.com/app/810500/PowerBeatsVR/

“We are sure Virtual Reality will shape the future of personal fitness, as it moves the focus from exertion to fun. This will have a huge impact on many people’s lives. With PowerBeatsVR we want to help people in getting healthier and improving their fitness level”, says Dr. Niklas Weber, one of the founders of Five Mind Creations.

With the latest update, the game made a great leap forward to being a virtual gym: Besides lots of polish, some fixes, and new requested options from the community, there is now an advanced calorie tracker, player statistics, and a unique integration of heart rate monitors. The heart rate will be shown in-game and analyzed for tracking the player’s fitness level and making the calorie tracker more accurate than it could be with mere assumptions.

So what makes PowerBeatsVR unique in the fitness game genre? The game is physically intense as no other. It will let players move, squat, sidestep and leap around obstacles in ways they haven’t done before. Shattering incoming boulders into pieces with forceful hits and seeing calories burn is quite satisfying. The game is all about the feeling of power and having fun while training stamina, strength, balance, and reaction.

In short, PowerBeatsVR is meant for gamers who search for a joyful way to exercise, but also for fitness enthusiasts who like videogames or want to refresh their workout routine. Everything gets tracked and analyzed, so players can see how many calories they have burned over time and how their fitness level is progressing.

The devs are constantly improving the game and adding more content, and the development roadmap is mainly driven by the feedback and wishes of the community.

More details about the game can be found on the official website (www.powerbeatsvr.com) or on the Steam store page: https://store.steampowered.com/app/810500/PowerBeatsVR/
