June 27, 2011, Yorktown, Virginia -- Cybernetics has announced the immediate availability of 4U models of its popular SAN Disk Storage Solutions.Cybernetics disk storage solutions are now available in 4U enclosures, with 24 disk drive bays, increasing capacity to up to 72TB per unit. Expandable to a capacity of 576TB, Cybernetics disk storage solutions are the flexible choice for companies seeking to harness the constantly increasing need for more disk storage. Cybernetics new 4U models allow companies to start with as little as 24TB, while the smaller model SAN storage solutions are able to start with capacities as low as 1TB. Built for reliability and performance, even the smallest Cybernetics entry-level SAN disk storage solution achieves transfer rates of 500 MB/s, while Enterprise models achieve 1.2 GB/s. Compatible with MPIO/load balancing to sustain blazing transfer rates between the SAN and network servers, Cybernetics’ SAN disk storage solutions deliver instantaneous and automatic data protection with layers of defense against all types of threats to data, including snapshot backup, portable disk backup, tape backup, and encrypted, deduplicated WAN replication – all without a dedicated backup server or third-party software.
