Polaris Networks successfully conducts 5G Training and starts Interoperability Trials with i2i Systems in Turkey

San Jose, California, July 18, 2019 - Polaris Networks, a leading provider of wireless test and measurement products has successfully conducted a Roadshow cum Training Workshop with i2i Systems - a well-known Turkey-based System Integrator. The Software Development Team at Polaris sent one of their Engineers to conduct the training and orientation program aimed at testing the Polaris NetTest 5G Network Emulator solution’s interoperability with the software solution of the Turkish System Integrator. The latter, post completion of the training program has started interoperability trials with the 5G Test Tool from Polaris.
Satisfied with the outcome of the Training Program conducted by the representative from Polaris Networks, Selçuk Misirhoglu – 5G Programs and PMO Manager at I2I Systems – stated “At i2i Systems, we are investing in 5G Technologies and as part of this investment, we are developing 5G Core Network Functions as well. In order to assure telco-grade quality, we’ve decided to test these functions via a third-party test tool in addition to tools and frameworks developed in-house. After proper research and analysis, we found that the NetTest 5G Network Emulator product from Polaris Networks meets our requirements in terms of functionality and supported features. Therefore, we co-operated with Polaris Networks and got a satisfactory training service”. “We are now in a trial/evaluation period and it seems that when the integration is completed, we will benefit from the product very much. The NetTest 5G Network Emulator from Polaris Networks simulates all the elements of a 5G network, namely: 5G devices (UE), 5G base stations (gNB) and the 5G Core. Based on 3GPP specifications, this tool allows users to simulate various network operations and procedures in the lab. Besides, the 5G Network Emulators provides the ability to simulate negative and abnormal network behavior. This solution is ideally suited for Research and Study purposes as well as for Feature Testing of 5G gNB and 5G Core.
