WoodWing Announces Support for Adobe’s CS3
ZANDAAM, THE NETHERLANDS (April 5, 2007) — With the highly anticipated release of Adobe’s Creative Suite 3 last week, officials from WoodWing Software say that CS3-compatible versions of all WoodWing’s software and editorial solutions — including the industry-leading Smart Connection Enterprise — will be released later this spring.WoodWing officials hailed the release of CS3 as one of the most exciting developments in the publishing industry in years, and said WoodWing has been working the past few months to make sure all of its products will work seamlessly with the updated Adobe software.
“We’re very excited to see the release of CS3,” said Erik Schut, President of WoodWing Software. “One of the best things about CS3 is that Adobe’s software will now run perfectly on the new Intel Macs. On top of all the other enhancements that Apple has made, this will boost the performance even more for Macintosh users who publish using InDesign and the other Adobe products.”
“This is just one more enhancement that will help publishers make the decision to move to InDesign if they haven’t already switched,” Schut added. “It’s really amazing all the things they’ve included with CS3, and we’re excited that WoodWing will be right there with them. Our customers won’t miss a beat when CS3 is released. If you’re running CS3, you’ll be able to use every WoodWing product.”
In addition to Smart Connection Enterprise, the WoodWing solutions that will be covered by the CS3 release include Smart Connection Pro, Smart Layout, Smart Styles, Smart Catalog, Smart Hyphen and Smart Speller.
