Canada Express Entry – ITA Issued To Candidates with CRS Above 332

The Government of Canada has recently launched a number of initiatives to boost its immigration programs to bring more skilled immigrants into the country.
The Government has extended invitations to nearly 500 Federal Skilled Trades Class Express Entry candidates and has enabled them to apply for permanent residence in Canada. The candidates who have obtained Invitations to apply or ITA’s in the latest Canada Express Entry draw, have had their Comprehensive Ranking Scores as low as 332, which is much lower than the pattern set by the federal immigration authority at Express Entry draws each year. The Express Entry draw was a program-specific draw which aimed to target applications from those candidates who belonged exclusively to the Federal Skilled Trades Class. This immigration stream is open to all foreign skilled nationals who possess the necessary certificate of qualification. Applicants are required to be qualified to work in a skilled trade occupation in Canada or have a valid job offer from a local company to qualify in this category

The skilled work experience that is required to make a person eligible for the Federal Skilled Trades Class could be categorized as per the National Occupational Classification or NOC –Canada. For example, the Major Group 72 consists of people working in electrical, construction or industrial trades and so on. Candidates who are found to be eligible to participate in the program are given a comprehensive ranking score which allows them to enter the Express Entry pool.
