SmsCoin: MoCO-2011 totals

Between June 9th and 10th in Moscow took place the VII international conference “Mobile Content – MoCO2011” - a conspicuous and meaningful event in mobile content industry. For the seventh time the forum has become a meeting place for branch leaders from Russia, CIS countries, EU countries, Middle East and USA. SmsCoin project, which provides a complete platform for SMS payments implementation across almost 90 countries worldwide, acted as a sponsor of «Mobile Commerce» session.

All the events announced in the program took place in a lively atmosphere and were marked by active discussions. Key market players gathered at the forum, where they successfully shared experiences on professional level and discussed current issues and goals for the coming year.
Participants in the “Mobile Commerce” session discussed development trends of the mobile commerce market, principles of interaction between companies that offer mobile commerce services, legislative aspects, new wireless technologies and prospects of their implementation on the mobile commerce market and much more. In the course of the session reports were held by representatives of the three biggest mobile carriers in Russia (D. Martemyanov – MTS, D. Zyryanov – Megafon, V. Markelov – VimpelCom), delegates of companies of the e-commerce branch (N. Hajtina – Yandex.Money, V. Dostov – association “E-Money”, A. Pikalov — QIWI purse), as well as of corporations producing high-tech products (S. Rudenko – Nokia Russia, S. Yezyk – Microsoft, E. Solovieva – Samsung) and many others.

Summing up the participation in the conference, Yakov Beder, SmsCoin executive director, said: “On MoCO 2011 we had the opportunity to participate in the discussion of current issues and latest trends in the mobile content industry. MoCO-2011 participants witnessed plenty of interesting innovations, including electronic voting system, face-to-face dialog with forum experts, broadcasting of Twitter-feeds on screen in the session halls, an innovative format for the presentations of various projects and ideas, and much more.
