IIMK LIVE is the Business Incubator and Entrepreneurship Development Centre of IIM Kozhikode which is rated as one of the top 10 business schools in India by the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF). Admission to incubation program at LIVE was a highly competitive process. After the initial screening from a host of 200 plus applicants, cmercury was one among the top 30 ventures who made it to the round two. This was followed by a pitch presentation and interview in front of a panel of academic and industry experts. The main intent of the second phase was to assess the leadership team, clarity of vision, the market viability of the business idea. Though the overall selection process was tough and strenuous, cmercury made it to the winners' list, as a stamp of approval for its leadership team and its product vision to build a fully AI-powered marketing automation suite by the year 2020.
