SUCCESSFUL SCRUM MASTER MAKES “PAY IT FORWARD” POSSIBLEConscires Agile Practices Offers the Option of Donation to make Scrum Training Practical
• Conscires Agile Practices will host 5 upcoming “Pay it Forward- Donation Only” Scrum Trainings as an affordable option to learn the Scrum method of working.
• The donation only trainings will provide a way of giving back to the community, while also spreading the awareness and inviting others to the world of Agile and Scrum.
• Conscires have recently achieved in completing five Pay it Forward classes on Agile & Scrum across 4 cities.
IRVINE, Calif.—Conscires Agile Practices, an organization seeking to build other successful organizations through empowering people and through lightweight processes, is currently offering the option of donation only trainings to make the Scrum & Agile classes available for everyone.
Scrum focuses on individual interaction over process tools as well as customer collaboration over contract negotiation. Although Scrum/Agile was created by IT professionals to be used in their industry it can be used productively throughout other businesses as well.
Bachan Anand, founder of Conscires Agile Practices, has already conducted five Pay it Forward classes where he successfully introduced people to the joys that he experienced when he came across Scrum. The facilitations took place in Boston, Seattle, Irvine, and Denver.
A former participant, Bryan D. Mize, had more than positive feedback after taking part of one of the “Pay it Forward” classes: “I was fortunate enough to take Bachan’s one day Intro to Scrum training course recently in Seattle. Not only was the course well organized and implemented, but it was implemented using the Scrum methodologies, so the participative/self organizing concept was more than conveyed, it was experienced. Bachan’s abilities to facilitate successful interactions amongst total strangers speaks volumes of his knowledge and experience in team-building. I took many “lessons” and experiences from that day, and will be able to apply what I learned in many aspects of my life. If you are fortunate enough to have this opportunity, it would be my suggestion that you take it!”
There are five upcoming “Pay it Forward” classes on Agile and Scrum that will start to take place at the end of June. More specifically the cities and dates include:
Denver, CO- June 24, 2011
Irvine, CA- July 15, 2011
Seattle, WA- July 18, 2011
Boston, MA- July 27, 2011
New Jersey/New York- July 29, 2011
The Agile and Scrum trainings will be very useful for those who are interested in learning more about scrum or those who want to supplement their Agile education. The trainings are aimed at instilling the core beliefs of Agile and Scrum and creating a transparent and collaborative environment where the team succeeds as a single entity. In the 1-day, donation only course you will learn the principles and practices that make Scrum effective at managing projects. The session will cover the following elements: Scrum in practice, illustrating Scrum in action, understanding the Agile Manifesto and what it means to them, essence of Scrum which includes values, foundations, and a new way of thinking, understanding how Scrum values and foundations are related to the practices, a sense of what self-organization is, and a diagram of mechanic of Scrum which includes framework, roles, artifacts, and flow.
