Press release from: Howard R. Miller Communications

June 10th, HOLLYWOOD, FL - All Florida Pest Control became the first pest control company in the state of Florida to be green certified by the Green Business League, offering a natural, environmentally friendly pest control program for their customers. In addition to this unique green program, All Florida Pest Control follows green initiatives including e-bills to customers and high-tech GPS fleet control.

The Green Business League awarded Jim Maler, President of All Florida Pest Control, the Gold Certification, which is the 2nd level of achievement on the Green Path. Kathy Spratt, Director of Green Business League Worldwide of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, conducted the assessment and audit.

“All Florida Pest Control is the type of business we are pleased to certify as being green. In addition to offering a green alternative to the consumer, they operate a sustainable business by adopting green practices and making green purchases,” said Spratt. “We look forward to making more consumers aware of their valuable service.”

Green Business League provides certification for businesses, plus training for Certified Sustainability Officers and Green Business Consultants throughout North America and the world.

All Florida Pest Control’s launch of the green “all natural” pest control program is a non-toxic alternative to eliminate all pests from fleas to bed bugs. Consumers such as clients of hotels and health care facilities are taking a more active role in finding out exactly how establishments are preventing and eradicating bed bugs. Many facilities use harsh, toxic chemicals in their bed bug programs and are not required to inform visitors and clients of the presence of these chemicals. Through education and service, All Florida Pest Control has the ability to provide the results the facilities need, while providing consumers the safety they deserve, at a price that is competitive with traditional methods of control.

According to Jim Maler, “All Florida Pest Control’s goal is introducing all natural pest control into hotels, schools, day care centers, yards and parks to help create a toxic free environment.”
