Koh Samui, June 19th 2019 – Luxury boutique resort Silavadee Pool Spa Resort is focusing its guest experience on a new package of wellbeing options.

The goal is to provide guests with unlimited options during their stay that will enrich the mind, body and soul with a healthy variety of events and programmes.

Focusing on culture, sports and meditation the Freedom of Choice concept offers three main tracks which the guest can choose from, according to their own personal objectives and interests.

A Personal Trainer or Recreation Host meets the guest upon arrival for the initial consultation and to guide them through the options; from this the most suitable track is established. To achieve the desired results an individual schedule is agreed and implemented for the duration of the holiday.

The programme consists of 30 different activities designed to provide variety within each of the three tracks. Alternatively, guests can choose any of the activities independently, on an ‘a la carte’ basis.

Activity highlights include a wellness cooking class, the spiritual experience of merit making at a local Lamai temple, Thai meditation, dawn yoga, Pranayama yoga and sleep meditation. The resort even invites guests to team up with its staff for a bit of community service by cleaning the private beach.

The three Freedom of Choice tracks are:

Sila Wellbeing
This track is aimed for the guest who wishes to explore culture, nature, sport and mindful activities by including diverse aspects into the holidays for a holistic experience.

Balanced Fitness
Suitable for different fitness levels, and recommended for those wishing to improve physical vitality and concentration. Designed to enhance body physique, including power and muscle building elements, while also focusing on balance and concentration.

Mindful Awareness
This programme is designed for those who wish to ‘slow down’. It combines deliberate movement practices, meditation and breathing exercises to improve emotional state of mind and re-connect to nature. A daily spa visit can be included for full relaxation.
With active minds and bodies comes healthy appetites, so to complement the programme, Silavadee has dedicated its Sun Lounge Restaurant entirely to ‘Wellness Cuisine’. Inspired by the local surroundings of Koh Samui Silavadee chefs provide guests with a selection of dishes offering fresh flavours and local ingredients, including products that are grown in the Resort gardens.

This healthy cuisine has a farm-to-table approach and can be paired with a raw juices, organic wines and other natural beverages, making the Sun Lounge an ideal spot to rest, relax and feel good during the day.
