Shakespeare has died

In Santiago, Chile, recognized director Gustavo Letelier has announced his compelling new feature film, for production starting July 2019.
The film tells a story of violence and humilliation that takes place in a theater school, where four students are threatened during an acting examination by a revengeful professor who takes his authority beyong any acceptable limit, with an inevitable ending of crime and suspense.
Based on the provocative stage play “Paper Students”, the film tells the story of Gastón, a mediocre professor of drama theory and frustrated actor, when he finds himself becoming Shakespeare while he examines the stage proposal of four students who have created an improvisation in which the characters of Hamlet, Lear and Othello recriminate the mind that created them for having imagined such a tragic destiny for those fictional lives.
