The countdown to the INITIATIVE DO IT Charity Golf is running. Only four weeks left before the tee-off of the 5th edition on saturday, July 9th 2011.

Again the venue for the Charity Golf event, under the auspices of the Bavarian State Minister for Finance, George Fahrenschon, is the picturesque location of the Golf Club Olching.

The initiators Ottmar Flach, President of the INITIATIVE DO IT and Stefan Denk, President of the Rotary Club Munich-Blutenburg are looking forward to many golf enthusiasts, for it is not just about fun and sports, but rather the solidarity and help for people in need.

Play golf and do something good. At the previous high-profile charity golf tournaments of the INITIATIVE DO IT as much as 150,000 euros net profit for socially disadvantaged people have been collected. In result the INITIATIVE DO IT Charity Golf is one of the most important German charity golf events.

"The idea of charity for joined engagement for people in need is the driving force for this traditional event. Stakeholder involvement is exemplary. Our dream would be to reach an average five-figure donation at this event", rejoiced Ottmar Flach.

The collected donations of the charity golf is presented in favour of the poor and people in need.

Therefore the INITIATIVE DO IT e.V. supports social projects as well as the children's cancer research project of the Rotary Club München-Blutenburg.

The guests of the evening event will experience an entertaining music program next to a culinary highlight. Top chefs from Stefan Marquard's Jolly Roger Cooking Gang present a live cooking show.

Supported by prominent players from business, culture and media, published in high-circulation magazines, newspapers and websites this event is probably one of the most beautiful ones. The high number of participants and loyal sponsors confirm the extraordinary appeal of this event.
