Canada Immigration Process - Prince Edward Island Invites Express Entry Candidates in Latest Draw

The Canadian province of Prince Edward Island has held its latest Express Entry draw on the 20th of June in the category for Labour Impact and Business immigration.

PEI Issues Invitations to Apply For Canada Immigration Process

The province has followed the custom of holding Express Entry draws every month for immigration candidates who are equipped to satisfy the labour market requirements in PEI
The candidates who obtain an invitation to apply for Canada immigration processes through the province’s Labour Impact categories are eligible to apply for a provincial nomination
A major proportion of invitations issued in latest draw was sent to applicants from the above two categories. The island’s Express Entry Stream is linked to the federal Canada Express Entry system, which is the country's primary source of skilled immigrant work force.
The province also issued seven invitations to applicants for Business impact -Work Permit Stream.
The stream is intended for foreign entrepreneurs who own a business owner or have relevant management experience and are interested to operate a business on the island. The candidates who have received invitations through this stream would be able to seek for approval for setting up a business in the province
Those who have been approved, receive a letter of support from the island PEI and become eligible to apply for a temporary work permit
