Free Mobile App by Ednexa to help students choose proper Engineering College in India

To help students and parents in this tedious process, Ednexa has developed a handy and efficient college finder application on mobile.

The application is developed for MHT-CET and AIEEE. Students can enter their CET/AIEEE score and other information such as desired branch, category, district and admission round etc. They get a list of engineering colleges that match the search criteria, based on the cut-off data of 2010. They also get complete details of the colleges like phone, address, website, hostel intake and cut-off scores of all branches on a single click. Students can also search details of a particular college by entering its name or a keyword.

To download the application, please visit m.ednexa.com . Once the application is downloaded and installed, one does not need to connect to the Internet. This is a stand-alone application that has all the data packed in it without significant increase in size. The whole application is just 360kb in size and can be accommodated even in a low-end mobile phone. This application is Java based and works on all mobiles that support Java, except for Android phones and iPhones.

Ednexa had developed similar web application 2 years ago on its website, www.ednexa.com. This was hugely popular amongst student community. Looking at the increasing significance of mobile phones and their utility, the company has launched the new mobile application.

In this context, Ednexa also runs an activity named, ‘Admission Counseling’ to help students choose appropriate college and course, based on their abilities and interests. For this, students undergo an aptitude test.
