Uconomix Launches uMark Professional 1.0, A Batch Image Watermarking Utility
September 19, 2005 -- Uconomix Technologies today announced the launch of uMark Professional 1.0 - a graphics utility that enables users to protect their digital images by adding a visible mark on them - company logo or a copyright notice or both.uMark is aimed at users who share images or photos on the Internet. With uMark one can add customized text and logo as a watermark to the image. uMark allows full customization of the watermark including -
> Placement of watermark at customized positions on the image
> Custom transparency option
> Customizable font for textual watermarks along with the option of drop shadow effect
> Support for multi-line text and special characters like ©, ®
> Option to rotate the watermark and tile them horizontally and/or vertically
> Ability to process multiple images in one go
> Option to rename, resize and convert the resulting images
uMark lets users save different watermark settings for quick applying later on. uMark also adds an option to the right click context menu for images in Windows Explorer to open the image in uMark and quickly add a predefine watermark.
uMark Professional is an advanced version of uMark Lite which was released a couple of months ago as a freeware. uMark Lite is free for both personal as well as commercial use while uMark Professional is competitively priced at $14.99.
