Chee Chan Golf Resort Adds to Pattaya’s Golf Course Roster
Chee Chan Golf Resort is the latest addition to the golf course roster in Pattaya, taking the number of courses in the seaside town close to 30. Inaugurated in 2018, Chee Chan Golf Resort is a championship golf course located outside Pattaya.“Pattaya’s quite the favourite when it comes to golf holidays in Thailand, so another full-fledged international standard golf course in the city is great news for the golfing community, especially for those who return to Pattaya for golf vacations,” says Jogeswari Peddi, Director, Golftripz.
The Chee Chan golf course is about 30 minutes from Pattaya, close to the Khao Chee Chan or the Buddha Mountain as it’s also known, because of the giant Buddha engraved on the mountain face. The Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport is 90 minutes away, enabling golfers to plan a round at Chee Chan enroute from the Airport to Pattaya.
Chee Chan Golf Resort will engage beginners to advanced golfers given its range of 7,345 yards from the championship tees to the front tees at 6,527 yards. The gamut of facilities are available including putting greens, chipping greens, driving range, carts, kiosks, restaurant, clubhouse, locker room and a pro shop.
“We’ve been seeing an interest in Chee Chan Golf Resort and have been including it in our Pattaya golf holiday package offers,” says Sandeep M, Manager, Golftripz. “Our golfing clients who’ve played at the course have said that they had a great experience playing there, it being a well-laid out, relatively easy course with a great clubhouse.”
