Vision Pacific Secures UVSS Contracts In Middle East
UAE Emirates Guard Colourscan UVSSThailand, Feb 2011 - Vision Pacific Co., Ltd the manufacturer and developer of intelligent under vehicle surveillance systems or UVSS, announced that it has received new orders to supply the Colourscan under vehicle surveillance systems to Emirate Guards in UAE.
The Colourscan UVSS systems will be installed at entrance of the Royal palaces . the Colourscan model was selected because this embedded system can scan vehicles traveling at 30km per hour and high accuracy reading in UAE car plates. Vision Pacific will also be configuring the uvss with their other product Automatic Licence Plate Recognition ALPR to recognise Arabic vehicle licence plate number as vehicles are being scanned before they enter the compound.
“Our ALPR engines are configured to read licence plates with Thai, Arabic and Latin characters. This is a good technology as vehicle numbers can be logged automatically using an outdoor ALPR camera.
Operator can edit the database for list of Block vehicles and compare undercarriage images when they buy our UVSS system with ALPR option.”
