FLAT EARTH MUSIC NAMES VETERAN ARTIST REPRESENTATIVE TODD WILKES AS CREATIVE DIRECTOR

Flat Earth Music, a small Nashville-based music publisher has added veteran music industry leader to its ranks. Todd Wilkes, a music publisher and artist manager who has been in the music business since the age of 17 joined Flat Earth Music in early May 2011 to become its first Creative Director. Wilkes who has worked with some of the biggest names in country music including Randy Travis, George Strait, Martina McBride, Blake Shelton, Reba McEntire, Kenny Chesney, Allison Krauss and many others, brings his considerable talent for finding and promoting great music to lead the growing stable of songwriters and pluggers at Flat Earth Music.

Wilkes said, “when I met Greg and began to learn about his vision, I couldn’t help but feel compelled to be a part of Flat Earth Music.”

Wilkes, along with company President Greg Flatt and Business Development Director Dave Wilson have set an ambitious goal to not only create great music but to also fundamentally change how independent publishers work with their songwriters.

Flatt says he is excited to have someone of Wilkes’ caliber on staff “to provide the creative Yen to my business Yang.”
