Deal Announcement: SinnerSchrader Acquires Leading German Mobile App Developer TIC-mobile GmbH

TRADE SALE OF TIC-MOBILE TO SINNERSCHRADER AG. Laukaz Analytics & Investment GmbH acted as the exclusive M&A advisor to TIC-mobile and its shareholders. On 11th May, SinnerSchrader AG announced that it entered into a definitive agreement to acquire TIC-mobile GmbH, a leading mobile app development company headquartered in Berlin. A 2011 study from ABI Research reveals that the worldwide app industry is well on its way to achieving 44 billion cumulative downloads by 2016. A 2010 research report by MarketsandMarkets indicates that the total global mobile applications market is expected to be worth $25 billion by 2015. It was about $6.8 billion in 2010. The overall global market is forecast to record CAGR of 29.6 percent 2009 to 2014. According to MarketsandMarkets, Apple’s App Store will hold about 20.5 percent of $25 billion market.
