Texas Business Owner Wins Prestigious Global Leadership Award

(Dallas, Texas) May 11, 2011 – A mentor to a young business woman from Africa, acclaimed celebrity esthetician, and leader in the global skin care industry, Renée Rouleau has garnered worldwide exposure with her entrepreneurial drive and business savvy, which just landed her the Communications Leadership award at this year’s Entrepreneurs’ Organization Global Leadership Conference.

The international entrepreneur network’s signature event was held in Chicago, May 5-7 where Renée Rouleau, founder and CEO of Renée Rouleau Skin Care, received the award for Overall Communications Leadership.

Rouleau has been a member of the Dallas chapter of the Entrepreneurs’ Organization for two years and served as the chapter’s communications chair from 2010 to 2011.

Among her many standout achievements as communications chair, Rouleau created a communications calendar for the Dallas Chapter, initiated a new spotlight program which highlights outstanding members in the chapter and a different “Strategic Resource” or sponsor each month, and spearheaded participation in Super Bowl XLV activities regionally.

Rouleau also created the EO Dallas blog and a successful social media program in which she contributed consistent, relevant and meaningful content and established a strategy for crowdsourcing content and encouraging other members of the organization to actively participate.

On a national level, Rouleau bolstered the organization’s external awareness through partnerships with local and national media and supporting EO’s Global Communications.

The communications team was also instrumental in planning and executing the 2010 Texas Round Up Event held in Dallas, Texas last year which took home the “Best Area Event” award.
