Bottle PR take on retail PR brief and brand communications for top-performing brand distributors re:creation

Following a competitive three-way pitch Bottle PR, the Oxfordshire-based PR agency has been appointed to handle the PR brief and brand communications campaign for re:creation, the UK developer and distributor of toys, games, creative play and gifts.

re:creation are known as the company who first brought ride-on scooters to the UK. Now their extensive brand portfolio includes Razor® scooters, pocket money toys, LEGO® Licensed products and more adult-focused Monty Python® and Stylophone® ranges.  The brand also manages its own pro-scooter stunt team 'Team Razor'.

The brief will include media relations support, retail PR and brand communications strategy on a series of UK product launches, including the new 'Razor Graffiti Scooter'. Bottle PR is also tasked with boosting re:creation’s brand awareness among its core audiences through national media.
Karen Cooper, director at BOTTLE PR, commented: “With its revolutionary products and ambitious quirky personality, we are thrilled to be working with re:creation. With some amazing products to launch throughout 2011, we will be delivering some fantastic retail PR campaigns, combining both traditional and social brand communications. The whole team at Bottle is naturally very excited."
The agency will report directly to re:creation's Katy Fletcher. Katy said: “In a fast-changing industry that’s centered on what a young audience demands, it is critical for us to have a creative retail PR and brand communications agency like Bottle PR on board.
