axon IT Supports Growth with New Appointment

Leading IT solutions provider axon IT, based in Macclesfield, is supporting recent growth with the appointment of Damien Entwistle as Operations Manager.

In his role with the company, Damien will oversee the day-to-day operations, supervise procedures, manage engineer capacity and develop the business going forward.

Damien joins axon IT from Datrix Training in Leyland, where he spent two years working as Technical Training Manager. Prior to this he spent seven years at Remarc Technologies as Technical Training Manager responsible for the quality and delivery of Microsoft, Citrix, Cisco, Oracle and Unix technical courses.

Damien holds an honours degree in engineering from the University of Sheffield, a postgraduate degree in business management and information technology from Newcastle Business School, and an ACCA cDipAF from the Manchester Business School.

He brings additional expertise to axon IT through a host of Microsoft, Citrix and ITIL qualifications including Microsoft Certified Professional, Microsoft Certified Trainer, Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer, Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist and ITIL V3 Foundation.
