The module features power efficient Arm® processor integrated with latest communication standards such as 4G/3G/2G LTE, GPS receiver, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity. The device features J1962 compliant OBD II interface support and multiple cloud/server support such as Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure, IBM Bluemix and TCP/IP server.
It plugs easily into your vehicle’s OBD port and effectively relays real-time data and a series of diagnostic trouble codes with the device’s back-end server/application. The OBD II device doubles as a Wi Fi hotspot ensuring high-speed internet connectivity while on the go.
The OBD II module retrieves important parameters from the vehicle’s ECU and performs critical operations related to tracking and diagnostics at the edge. Computationally heavy non-time critical tasks are offloaded to the Cloud. Data is presented in an easy interactive format on the OBD II device’s user interface -The Car Tracker Android application. The user can analyse this data and implement preventive maintenance to improve vehicle’s health and longevity. Advanced features such as Anti-Jamming and 9 Axis Sensors Support ensures reliable tracking of your vehicle all the time, even in tunnels and underground passages. Furthermore, the device ensures safety on road by analysing driving patterns. Live alerts are generated in case of any violation of safe driving practises such as over speeding, hurried braking, engine revving etc. The device also supports Geofencing and Immobilization that ensure all round safety for your vehicle from theft and damages.
