Transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR) is a type of surgery in which a new valve replaced without removing the old and damaged valve. • Transapical approach in which a minimally invasive surgery with a small incision in the chest and entering through a large artery in the chest or through the tip of the left ventricle (the apex).
