Washington, D.C. – Bootcamp Lights, an interactive aerial advertising company; launches its services with a custom built R22 Helicopter, outfitted with a 36-foot digital billboard. This innovative approach will offer a variety of targeted, close range aerial advertisements over major metropolitan areas from Charlotte, NC to New York City.

The Federal Aviation Administration granted Bootcamp Lights authorization to fly digital advertising at an impressive altitude of 500 feet. The Bootcamp Lights Helicopter is capable of hovering directly above specific locations as well as flying customized flight plans, targeting multiple areas.

Bootcamp Lights performed a test flight just outside Washington, D.C. over the interchange at I-270 and I-370 (5:45am-6:00am). Robert Schapiro, CEO of Bootcamp Lights said, “We displayed DC101’s syndicated talk morning show, Elliot in the Morning, and their prominent catchphrase, ‘Smell My Face!’ The call-to-action it produced was remarkable!”
