Prepare to have your world rocked this May as GOLDIE media gets up close and personal with groundbreaking pro-age activist and author of This Chair Rocks, Ashton Applewhite.

On May 23rd, Ashton will take time out of her whirlwind UK book tour to join our founder Rebecca Weef Smith for the first GOLDIE in conversation with.... An evening of no-holds barred discussion about ageing and style in all its multicoloured glory. It’s a unique opportunity to hear this trailblazer reflect on subjects she won’t cover anywhere else.

Ashton leads a new wave changing the prevalent “it's-all-downhill-from-here” narrative. In the past month this has led to trend-spotter Marian Salzman predicting that 2019 will be the year we all embrace age while British Vogue collaborated with L'Oreal on "The Non-Issue," a direct challenge to the rampant age discrimination in the fashion and beauty industries.

Ashton Applewhite says:

“By 2050, one out of five of us, almost two billion people, will be age 60 and up. Longevity is here to stay. A movement to end ageism is underway. I'm in it and I hope you will join me.”
