Trumbull, CT, April 15, 2011 -- T-PAC Transactional Print Advisory Council Assembles Experts from Many Industries

Océ, a Canon Group Company and an international leader in digital document management and delivery, today announced the formation of the Océ Transactional Print Advisory Council (T-PAC), a group dedicated to excellence in the transactional print market. The first T-PAC meeting is scheduled for May 24-26 at the Broadmoor Resort in Colorado Springs.

“Transactional printing represents significant business for many Océ commercial and in-plant customers. We recognize the need to continually raise the bar in this market through best practices, optimized technology and productive engagements. T-PAC is an opportunity to form relationships with senior Océ executives and other industry visionaries to share ideas that help our customers evolve their transaction business,” said Francis McMahon, Vice President, Marketing, Océ North America, Production Printing Systems.

During their two-year terms, participants gain special insight into technology trends from Océ. T-PAC members are encouraged to provide feedback to influence Océ Production Printing Systems strategy, products and services. Participants can benefit as potential beta sites and early adopters of the resulting technologies, services and partner solutions.
T-PAC Membership Has Broad Base

To build the council, Océ sought early adopters of Océ production printing technology, services and partner solutions. Members are drawn from industries that depend heavily on digital production printing:

• Banking/financial services
• Insurance providers
• Service Bureaus
• Transactional commercial printers
• Direct mail firms

Experienced with Strategy and Vision
T-PAC members represent customers with successful business models, and these senior-level professionals are responsible for long-term organizational strategy and planning. Representatives come from geographically dispersed enterprises across North America. To ensure objective perspectives, the council also includes several non-Océ customer participants, as well as members affiliated with industry associations.

“The council involves a high degree of trust and respect for our customers’ achievements and insights. As visionary subject matter experts, their commitment and experience help us improve our solutions and business offerings, which in turn benefits council members and the industry as a whole,” noted McMahon.
