BUBEN&ZORWEG at the Baselworld 2011

The Baselworld 2011 was attended by over 100,000 visitors from more than 100 countries, close to 1,900 exhibitors and a record number of accredited journalists, making it the second-best result of all time. The 39th world trade show for watches and jewellery also returned a fantastic result for BUBEN&ZORWEG.

“We had many interesting discussions with clients and journalists and were able to achieve record scores with regard to the number of media contacts and customer frequency,” says an obviously pleased Harald Buben. “Business went exceptionally well for us and we were pleased to receive overwhelming feedback on our most recent innovations. Our customers seek out things that are special and unique, and that is exactly what we can offer them,” says Christian Zorweg in analysing the latest successes.

Some new highlights from BUBEN&ZORWEG at the BASELWORLD 2011:

TITAN
The radically innovative interpretation of the „Safe“ topic – designed, developed and manufactured by BUBEN&ZORWEG. A unique and elegant object that presents itself as an object of art in any discerning ambiance. The heavyweight (650 kg) among the safes has got it all (well-protected): Tried and tested Kaba technology guarantees top security in full compliance with the VDS IV Standard. The signature clock from BUBEN&ZORWEG, the high-end HiFi system and the perfect execution of craftsmanship do nothing to indicate at first glance that what is offered here first and foremost is security. The code pad of the Paxos® lock is only revealed when the extravagantly designed handle is pushed to one side. When it is opened, the interior glides impressively forwards and a sophisticated rotary mechanism reveals 36 TIME MOVER® units cast in brilliant LED light in a secret rotating compartment.

REVOLUTION
A revolution in the field of watch winders? The REVOLUTION from BUBEN&ZORWEG does away with conventionalism and instead offers uncompromising innovation inspired by the interior of luxury automobiles: carbon inlay accentuates the aluminium design, and the opening system is as surprising as it is compelling, not least thanks to its German safety lock. The presentation table available as an optional extra makes the REVOLUTION a real eye-catcher in any exclusive ambiance. Its inner values are founded on tried and tested technology. TIME MOVER® units for 8 or 12 watches (or 8 TIME MOVER® units and the BUBEN&ZORWEG signature clock) are bedded in an ambiance of the finest leather. LEDs cast the best possible light on the passionate collector‘s precious timepieces. The REVOLUTION is very traditional in one particular regard: as a masterpiece of perfect craftsmanship.

MIRAGE
Exquisite materials shaped by perfect craftsmanship to form dynamic, clearcut lines characterise the exclusive, timelessly modern design of the MIRAGE. BUBEN&ZORWEG have once again delivered an innovative masterpiece for precious watches. The two-way glass mirror enables the beholder to view the treasures hidden inside the MIRAGE – the German VdS I safe contains 16 of a total of 26 TIME MOVER® units, whilst additional drawers offer storage space for watches and jewellery. The BUBEN&ZORWEG signature clock crowns the MIRAGE, an asset that enhances the value of any interior.
