Krieger & Stewart, Incorporated Appoints Charles A. Krieger President & Chief Executive Officer

Krieger & Stewart's Board of Directors announced April 1st that Charles (Chuck) Krieger is the President & Chief Executive Officer of the 40-year-old, Riverside-based consulting civil and environmental engineering firm. Robert Krieger has officially handed the corporate leadership of the firm to his son.

Starting a business and one day having your son continue your legacy is a dream that few business owners realize. Krieger & Stewart is proud to be celebrating its 40th year in business and proud to have Chuck Krieger at the helm. Robert Krieger will remain Chairman of the Board of the firm he co-founded and he will continue to be involved in special projects.

Chuck has worked for the firm since he was a boy picking up around the office after school and has performed virtually every job in the firm since then. Chuck graduated from the University of California, Davis in 1984 with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and became a licensed civil engineer in 1989. Now 48 years old with 26 years engineering experience under his belt, he has become a trusted advisor to many public agencies throughout California.

While the title is new to him, most of the responsibilities are not. Chuck has been directing or participating in corporate operations for the past several years. In his new role as President & Chief Executive Officer, Chuck is committed to continuing the legacy and core beliefs that have made Krieger & Stewart one of the top consulting engineering firms in the area. One core belief that his father, Robert Krieger, has engrained in him and the culture of the firm is that 'details matter' when it comes to serving and protecting the client. This will not change under Chuck's leadership.

The co-founders, Robert A. Krieger and Julian D. Stewart, ventured together to start their civil and environmental engineering firm in 1971 with the sole purpose of serving the unique needs of their clients, both public agencies and private parties. Krieger & Stewart's devotion to serving all clients with quality engineering services remains the same.
