New product will help modernise communication
A new product called Collabor8tor is set to dramatically improve the way organisations engage and involve staff and customers.Collabor8tor which was launched by Netsite at Kent 20:20 - one of the county’s major business exhibitions – can reduce costs and increase efficiency. The key benefits include improving workflow and collaboration, reducing the volume of internal emails, making it easy to find people and information and improving learning and information sharing.
Netsite Managing Director Paul Duthoit said Collabor8tor was inspired by some of the features used in social media such as instant messaging, RSS feeds, polls and the ability for everyone to add and edit information.
He explained: “The generation now entering the workforce have grown up with the internet and mobile technologies. They have a completely different style and expectations of communication. Collabor8tor has been created with modern communication needs in mind and will help organisations streamline information and improve the way they work. It is particularly useful for organisations with 200-plus staff across multiple sites.”
Collabor8tor can be completely customised and also used by organisations with large numbers of members or customers who want to form on-line communities. Paul believes this is becoming increasingly important as a way of engaging members or customers with brands and monitoring satisfaction.
He explained: “It is called managed social networking – we are creating a platform with controlled access that enables groups of employees and customers to collaborate and improve services. “
Netsite is already working with one NHS organisation whose clinicians and administrative staff are benefiting from an early version of Collabor8tor.
There are two versions of Collabor8tor. One has been designed for clubs, charities, not-for-profit, associations, local organisations and tenants associations. The other version is for companies, businesses and commercial organisations. For more information go to www.collabor8tor.co.uk Demonstration can be arranged by telephoning 01634 880800 or e-mail info@collabor8tor.co.uk
Chatham-based Netsite offers a range of services from bespoke website design through to content managed e-recruitment systems. The company was established 13 years ago and has clients including the NHS, The Charity Commission, Crewsaver and The Historic Dockyard Chatham.
