Norddeutsche Landesbank now also relies on icubic’s iQbonds
The Norddeutsche Landesbank (NORD/LB) entrusts the software experts from Germany. With iQbonds, the NORD/LB has chosen a fully developed standard software for their electronic bond trading.Magdeburg, Hannover – In order to realise more effective electronic bond trading, the Norddeutsche Landesbank is now also utilising software created by icubic. The implementation of high performance gateways to Eurex, Reuters, MTS and Bloomberg enables NORD/LB to achieve quicker reaction times for client requests and the best possible prices for bond trades across multiple markets.
“We are very pleased about the cooperation with icubic,” emphasized Torsten Meyer, Vice President of Financial Markets, NORD/LB. “We are expecting the new software to result in a clear increase in the efficiency of our electronic bond trading.”
“Only nine weeks after signing the contracts, iQbonds including our gateways were integrated into the IT operations of NORD/LB and the replacement project was concluded,” informed icubic board member, Dietmar Jakal. “The rapid and smooth project implementation as well as the high integration capabilities of iQbonds and most importantly the effective and mutual cooperation with NORD/LB are to thank for this success. With iQbonds, NORD/LB is provided with a highly developed trading platform for the fixed income area which not only offers the best performance but which also further improves the cost-benefit ratio,” continued Dietmar Jakal.
