One Stop CDMA, GSM and WCDMA Testing Services Now Available from SGS
SGS has introduced brand new testing applications at its CDMA wireless testing laboratory in San Diego. Tests are now available for handsets and smart phones designed to run on GSM and WCDMA networks.SGS will boast of the first testing laboratory anywhere to offer full certification testing services for all cellular technologies under one roof when its new GSM/WCDMA testing services launch in the second quarter of this year.
In helping device manufacturers and wireless service providers avoid sending new device models to multiple laboratories for the purposes of certification, SGS hopes to speed up the time to market for new GSM and WCDMA handsets and smart phones with its expanded testing services. SGS also expects that current customers will make full use of the new testing services for GSM/WCDMA (http://www.us.sgs.com/sgs-becomes-first-one-site-cdma-gsm-and-wcdma-testing-service-with-expansion-of-wireless-test-lab-in-san-diego-us?viewId=10061642 ) as they currently do for CDMA and EVDO.
The San Diego testing laboratory will of course continue to offer CDMA/EVDO test programs for full CTIA CDMA Certification, Safe for Network, CDG Stage 1 and CCF certification. In the first quarter of this year, SGS will also add LTE capability so as to fully complete the portfolio for its San Diego testing laboratory.
