LL Dent Restaurant Presents Rock-and-Roll Legend “Mr. Personality,” Lloyd Price

Carle Place, NY — There will be music on the menu when rock-and-roll legend “Mr. Personality,” Lloyd Price, comes to LL Dent Restaurant on April 12. Dinner begins at 6:30 p.m. Those in attendance will have the chance to dine with Mr. Price, who will share with the audience the authentic history of rock and roll and rhythm and blues.

Mr. Price is best known for singing, playing and composing several top ten rock-and-roll songs. His song “Lawdy Miss Clawdy” was the first R&B song to sell one million copies. Other hit songs included “Personality” and “Stagger Lee,” which sold a million copies and was No. 1 in both the pop and R&B charts in 1959.

Some of the topics Mr. Price will discuss include:

● What historic impact did he and Fats Domino actually have on the modern recording industry?
● Who was Stagger Lee?
