AutoVision – the International Film and Multimedia Festival for the Automotive Industry, calls for entries to its 10th jubilee edition.New OttoCar Grand Prix to win - Submissions are due until May 16th, 2011
Munich, March 29th 2011 - As of now TV & cinema commercials, TV programs, brand and corporate websites, interactive and multimedia productions, corporate videos, informational films and product presentation films can be submitted to the 10th jubilee edition of AutoVision in 2010 to win one of the prestigious OttoCar trophies in gold, silver and black!
New OttoCar Grand Prix
We are proud to introduce a new OttoCar Grand Prix especially for the interactive and multimedia categories in addition to the OttoCar Grand Prix for classical linear audiovisual productions. New categories such as „Social Media“, „Online/Mobile Games“(in terms of marketing tools), „Corporate Social Responsibility“ as well as „Best us of 3D“ and „Making of“ among the „Production Arts & Crafts“ categories represent the contemporary adaptations the AutoVision Festival has gone through.
"We find ourselves in the midst of a tremendously fast moving era of audiovisual interactive and multimedia communication that evolves almost on a daily basis. The „Minimalism“ viral campaign by „MINI“ that received the AutoVision Grand Prix in 2009, was the first ever production from the interactive and multimedia online category to win a Grand Prix. This award pointed out the vast potential of these productions within the automotive industry. Therefore the AutoVision Festival not only extends those categories but also introduces a new OttoCar Grand Prix especially for those productions."
- Alexander V. Kammel, Filmservice International President and AutoVision Festival Director
Since 1993, the AutoVision Festival takes place biennially on the first day of the world’s largest event for passenger cars, the International Motor Show IAA, with support of the VDA – German Association of the Automotive Industry. Ever since then AutoVision ranks among the best festivals for film and multimedia productions from the automotive Industry (automobiles, motorcycles, commercial vehicles, road safety, suppliers, etc...). The Awards Ceremony will be held on September 15th 2011 in Frankfurt, Germany.
