Byblos, importer and distributor of professional card, representative for Romania of Microsoft Press, has implemented open source ERP & CRM solution from BITSoftware to manage the import and distribution process and to plan the strategic resources of the company. Byblos also uses SocrateOpen CRM module to manage customer services and marketing. By using a common database and set points of interest for each client, Byblos manages to retain the existing customers and to find, to attract and to win new customers. As a result to the large volume of invoices involved by an import business, Byblos decided to migrate from his old accounting program to a solution that meet the needs and specificity of an import and distribution business.
„The old accounting software was almost zero on the assessment, payment in foreign currency and conversions. We simply can not handle with him. With SocrateOpen, the time of entering and processing data is much shorter. For example, the invoices operating time was reduced by more than 25%. I could say that is the strength of ERP solution we implemented. In addition, the CRM module that SocrateOpen provides on standard is perfect for our business side that involves the organization of conferences and other events”, said Mihaela Voinea, chief accountant Byblos.
The BITSoftware ERP & CRM open source solution has been adapted to meet the development trends and internal needs of Byblos, based on careful study of managerial processes and specific activity. SocrateOpen responds to the requirements of streamline the information flow inside the company and integrates the purchasing process, the distribution and the receipts and payments control.
