The Rover Shoppe and Motorcars Ltd., both of Houston, Texas have entered into an agreement whereby the Rover Shoppe would merge into the Motorcars family.
The Rover Shoppe and Motorcars Ltd., both of Houston, Texas have entered into an agreement whereby the Rover Shoppe would merge into the Motorcars family.Vick Hester owned and operated The Rover Shoppe for eleven years specializing exclusively in the repair of Land Rover vehicles of all vintages.
Motorcars Ltd. is a 39 year old company operating three other repair shops in Texas – Austin, Dallas and Houston. Motorcars Ltd. specializes in Land Rover, Jaguar and MINI Cooper repair. In addition, Motorcars Ltd. is involved in the new parts business, remanufacturing business, manufacturing business and salvage business – all related to components for those three makes.
Motorcars Ltd. will retain the 1902 Taft, Houston, Texas 77006 location and will operate it as “Motorcars – Midtown”. Mike Gallagher will be managing the Midtown location.
The other shop and facility is located at 8101 Hempstead, Houston, Texas 77008. Motorcars operates its main supply and distribution warehouse from the Hempstead location. Depending upon your location, one may be closer than the other.
The effective date of the transition is : 28 March 2011.
