BAND FROM TV 1-HOUR TV CONCERT SPECIAL DEBUTS ON FAMILYNET

Los Angeles, CA…Band From TV was created to provide funding and resources for several incredibly worthy charities. Greg Grunberg formed the celebrity rock band on a mission to make a difference in advancing and supporting charities the players are passionate about including: Save the Children, The Conservation Fund, The Epilepsy Foundation, TalkAboutIt.org, The Art of Elysium, Children’s Hospital LA; Child Abuse Prevention Program and The Fender Music Foundation.

The Band From TV is made up of:
- Hugh Laurie (keyboards), star of the FOX hit HOUSE
- James Denton (guitar), star of the ABC hit DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES
- Greg Grunberg (drums), a veteran of shows such as ALIAS, FELICITY and HEROES and stars in the upcoming NBC show LOVE BITES
- Bob Guiney (vocals) appeared on THE BACHELOR and currently hosts GSN Live on the Game Show Network
- Bonnie Somerville (vocals), appeared on CASHMERE MAFIA and in the movie THE UGLY TRUTH
- Rounding out the band are accomplished musicians Rich Winer, Chris Kelley, Barry Sarna and child-star turned bass player Brad Savage.

The latest release from the Band From TV is their CD with Bonus DVD “Hoggin’ All The Covers Unleashed!” features high-energy, family-friendly covers of hits from the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s. Partial proceeds from sales of digital and physical product are donated to each Actor’s charity of choice. Rock 'n Retail’s Gale Rosenberg whose company brokered the deal on behalf of Generosity Records states: "By reaching the enormous amount of households that FamilyNet reaches, we are spreading the word about the newly available CD with Bonus DVD, in order to raise monies to be donated to the charities. We are continuing to reach out to other companies to air versions of the top quality HD, 5.1 surround sound film."

The never before aired concert special will air on FamilyNet’s (Comstar) “The Venue” on:
Friday, April 1st @ 5pm EST
Saturday, April 2nd @ 8pm EST
Sunday, April 2rd @ 2am EST
