Cincinnati Based Smith & Schaefer Executive to Speak at Leadership Roundtable
Cincinnati, OH — March 22, 2011 — Smith and Schaefer, an employee-owned regional dealer representative, will have a participating member in the Ohio’s Employee-Owned Network leadership team breakfast roundtable. Smith & Schaefer’s treasurer Gary Wagner and one other panelist will address challenges that are unique to employee-owned organizations.The panel will include business leaders and executives speaking on health care reform and employee involvement in managing healthcare costs. Wagner will highlight Smith & Schaefer’s employee involvement to help preserve jobs and achieve key business strategies with a special focus on their health insurance committee’s role in the process.
“It’s important to network and share expertise with other employee-owned businesses in Ohio,” said Wagner. “Part of being an ESOP is learning from others and sharing information that can aid in the success of your business. Any information that I can provide to help others and vice versa is a benefit to being a part of this organization.”
