Heating Specialist Zehnder realizes phone system administration savings of over 90% per year with 3CX

London, March 23rd – 3CX, developer of the popular VoIP PBX 3CX Phone System, today announced that heating specialists Zehnder has installed the 3CX Phone System in their German offices and immediately made massive savings.

3CX Passes the Test

With 500 employees making approximately 2,000 calls a day, Zehnder required a phone system that was robust enough to cope with such a high demand. In January 2010 Zehnder set up a test infrastructure, in which a project team consisting of 30 users from Sales and Production analyzed the 3CX Phone System for several months. 3CX quickly proved to be a dependable and cost effective IP PBX solution and was therefore selected as the preferred choice of business phone system for Zehnder.

Up until the implementation of the 3CX Phone System, Zehnder used a traditional, out of date proprietary phone system from Avaya, which was difficult to scale and required the use of costly telephony specialists. Simple features which come as standard with 3CX such as adds and moves and conferencing proved too difficult to set up.

Today, hundreds of Zehnder employees are making thousands of calls a day whilst utilizing the Unified Communications features 3CX provides such as presence, which allows employees to see whether a colleague is on the phone or not, therefore avoiding unnecessary phone calls and useless transfers. Communication is more effective and less time consuming, increasing the amount of calls to and from customers each day and thus boosting sales.
