Holi revelers celebrate Eco-friendly Holi at EsselWorld and Water Kingdom

Mumbai, 21st March, 2011: EsselWorld and Water Kingdom successfully rounded-off their ‘Aqua Holi party’, which continues with the tradition of the last 21 years, and commemorates one of the largest Holi parties in Mumbai. The crowd roared to the danceable rhythms dished out by one of Mumbai’s finest music jockeys, DJ Akhtar and exhilarating performances by the super-talented finalist dancers of ‘Lux DID’, India’s highest rated dance talent show. Apart from the entertainment, this Holi was also very eco-friendly with no colours or gulal used and played purely with water.

The main attraction of this year's Holi party was at Water Kingdom, that featured breathtaking bollywood & techno tunes by DJ AKHTAR, who is known to set the stage on fire and grooving to his music were the finalists of India’s highest-rated dance reality show on Zee TV, Lux DID Doubles.The crowd cheered for their favourite LUX DID finalists, that further added to the confidence of the contestants at the Grand Finale performance, who are tantalising close to fetching the coveted ‘Sunehri Taqdeer Ki Topi’- the most definitive accolade in the world of dance!

Conforming to the prestigious title of being India’s Largest Amusement park, EsselWorld organised wonderful activities for the entire family that included a Band & clowns to welcome the visitors. The park smiled and glowed to the zeal and exhilaration, with spectacular arrangement of Rain Dance and a special Holi Parade with FAB5 Mascots. The crowd was spoiled for choices with Music, Rides, Rain Dance and traditional feast of Thandai and Jalebi.

Commenting on the activity, Shirish Deshpande, CEO, Pan India Paryatan Pvt. Ltd, which is the holding company of both the amusement parks, said, “It was a great pleasure to have such an overwhelming response for the Aqua Holi Celebrations. Last year, the Holi celebration was visited by approximately 6000 visitors, while this year we experienced a 20% increase on the turn-out.
