Equinor's bet on digital transformation with Digital Centre of Excellence
DCoE bundles together digital capabilities developed within individual functions of the company. It serves as an innovation hub driving the digital agenda of the company. Centralization of digitalization efforts helps Equinor to explore emerging technologies, such as advanced analytics, AI, Blockchain, and connect them with real business challenges.
Torbjørn F. Folgerø, SVP, and Chief Digital Officer will present on the Equinor’s Digital centre of excellence and their digital roadmap at the IIoT and Digital Solutions for Oil & Gas conference in Amsterdam, 6 – 7 of June. He will take the audience through the transformational journey and strategy that will make Equinor a digital leader within the energy industry and will give insight on some of the projects where Equinor has utilized advanced analytics.
Apart from Equinor, the conference features speakers from BP, Shell, Eni, OMV Petrom, MOL Group, Petronas, Petrobras, and other oil & gas companies. Leading technology companies, such as C3 IoT, Maana, Atomiton, FutureOn, BHGE, Honeywell, will also take the stage to share their latest digitalization solutions for the industry.
