FDM Group Granted Supplier Excellence Award

International IT services provider, FDM Group, has been granted a Supplier Excellence Award at the 2011 LeasePlan UK Supplier Conference this year.

FDM has been servicing LeasePlan for over two years and has built a close working relationship around LeasePlan's Testing environments. This award recognises FDM's flexible test delivery on a significant new LeasePlan end client offering called SalaryPlan - a Salary Sacrifice Company Car scheme for clients employees.

FDM also provided one of their own senior testers to mirror the test specialist so that once the tool and tests were set up LeasePlan could call on FDM, enabling them to benefit from cost savings. FDM’s flexible attitude meant that LeasePlan were able to resolve existing issues and reschedule the tests.

Vicki Coventry, Test Manager at LeasePlan was heading up the Testing programme: "We turned to FDM for help in undertaking the performance testing of our new SalaryPlan product to ensure that our system would support the required numbers of drivers accessing the system.

“The tests were performed over the weekend along side FDM’s own test resource, infrastructure team and developers. It was a valuable learning experience and the whole team performed well together to enhance the performance of the system.”
