A new website for active tourism in Andalucia , the beautiful and well-known region in southern Spain, is now live: an online guide that takes as its subject and starting point, sport and adventure.With a new concept of touristic guide, rich in contents and with a strong graphical impact, www.vayanda.com is ideal for those who want to organize their travels and vacations independently around their favorite sport or activity.
First, it is worth highlighting the main navigation bar, simple and intuitive, in which users, when hovering the arrow on their favorite activity, will see a drop down list of locations, divided by province, in which to practice that sport.
Clicking on the chosen town or city will take the visitor to the selected location page where information and advices on how and where to practice the activity are given, together with a useful directory of specialized local tour operators.
The new idea of this online guide lies in the fact that it doesn’t only offer specific information on the activities but, thanks to a secondary menu situated in the location pages, it provides all those classic information that can be found on a typical tourist guide.
The sub-menu navigation includes pages on history, sights and monuments, major events and festivals, gastronomy, transport and weather forecast related to the selected location.
Very indicative is also the use of the color code that dominates the entire site: the green as the main color, and the yellow as the secondary color.
Green, in addition to its natural and eco-friendly meaning, is the color of Andalucia and mirrors, along with several tones of yellow, the variety of scenery and landscapes encountered in the region.
A user friendly site that aims to be a guide to outdoor activities, not pretentious but easy and complete; a tool for independent travelers, who look at Andalucia from a dynamic point of view.
