Press release from: Ducksters

Duckster’s, a web portal and site for kids, today released its Kids Books section of the website. This section is designed as a place for kids to find information on popular kid’s book authors and book series.

The Ducksters Kid’s Books section is designed for ages 7-14, although it should be appropriate for anyone interested in reading. Included are top children’s book authors such as Beverly Cleary, J.K. Rowing, Rick Riordan, and Gordon Korman. A biography for each author as well as a list of books written by that author is described on each author’s page. Another large section includes many of the popular kid’s book series. These series range in age and reading level as well as genre’s from funny, silly books to adventure and fantasy. To give you an idea of the content, some of the book series included are Percy Jackson and the Olympians, Harry Potter, Diary of a Wimpy Kid, The Magic Tree House, Boxcar Children, and The Hunger Games. Each series is described in brief to help kids get an idea if it’s something they would like to read. If they’ve already read a series, there is a “if you liked this, then maybe you would like” section helping them choose another series to read.

This section fills a much needed hole in Ducksters’ web site content. Reading is a great source of entertainment and education. We think it’s important for kids to have fun and enjoy reading. We will continue to expand an update our kid’s book section.
