NAVIGATION SOLUTIONS ADDS ANDROID™ APPLICATION TO HERTZ NEVERLOST® MY EXPLORE HAWAII™ MOBILE APP
Navigation Solutions, developer of the Hertz NeverLost® Gen5 GPS unit and supporting online travel services, will give smartphone users another way to enjoy its My Explore Hawaii™ mobile travel application this spring and summer.Company officials announced that My Explore Hawaii, the company’s first mobile travel app introduced in December for the iPhone, will be available as a Google Android™ application, OS 2.2 versions and above. The Android application for My Explore Hawaii will debut in time for demonstrating its range of capabilities at the CTIA Wireless 2011 trade show Mar. 20-24 in Orlando, FL.

Complementing Hertz’s recently introduced NeverLost Explore Hawaii feature on the Gen5 unit, My Explore Hawaii is packed with rich multi-media content that brings to life the magic and allure of Hawaii’s most popular islands –Oahu, Kauai, Maui, and Big Island (Hawaii). With hundreds of ideas for visiting natural attractions, historic sites, the best beaches, and enjoying Hawaii’s best golf, guided excursions, shopping and current events, My Explore Hawaii is the must-have travel app for all things Hawaii.
Like the iPhone version, My Explore Hawaii on the Android platform features vibrant images, voice narrative and text descriptions that make it ideal for planning a trip to Hawaii, as well as exploring all that the islands have to offer when there. With its Quick Code™ feature, My Explore Hawaii gives NeverLost Gen5 GPS customers a short-cut for turn-by-turn directions to locations and events, making it the perfect travel guide in Hawaii.
